The Eagle Inn was built in 1795 and originally had bedrooms for travellers. Outside the front door was a Gold Eagle, which was emblematic of all that was powerful, but was replaced in later years.
During the Victorian period a billiard hall and a new larger room were added, which when it opened in 1892 drew a large crowd to the pub.
Today, the bar remains the hub of the community and we are famous for our live music events which include live bands and tribute band evenings. Each year there is a karaoke competition in the local area where local pubs compete against each other. Lasat year The Eagle Inn hosted the competition, with again draw a large crowd, and we won!
