The Commercial Hotel Bar and Club

Our 120 year old building is located in the heart of Wishaw and is famous for its music and sports events.

We hold the ‘Wishaw Factor’ and a ‘Wishaw’s Got Talent’ competitions as well as a Battle of the Bands night. Our famous local band Vigo Thieves have played Scotland’s major music festival T In The Park for the last two years after starting out in our nightclub venue, Soul Suite.

‘Bobby George and Eric Bristow attended our last Darts Competition’

We run competitions with prize money and both Bobby George and Eric Bristow attended our last Darts Competition Final. John Higgins, the world famous snooker player, held a charity night in The Commercial and we sponsor a range of sports groups including football, boxing and kicking boxing. The Commercial is a haven for watching sports events and the best place to follow your favourite team.
