The Kimberley Tavern formerly Kimberley Queen

The Kimberley Queen formerly Kimberley Queen was named after a famous tobacco clipper.

We took over the pub in 2010 and while we were refurbishing we found a really old safe which was hidden away in the roof space. We have never been able to open it to find out but rumour has it locally that it contains treasure which was brought back by one of the clippers’ captains who had doubled as a pirate.

The Kimberley is a pub where friends and family meet. When it’s cold outside the welcome will warm you up and in summer you and the children can enjoy our outdoor family seating area. We have a DJ and Karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights so join us for a warm welcome and learn more about Glasgow’s famous maritime past.
